For the Franklin family, Christmas will never be the same without their father, Oscar. In the first Christmas since his death, the Franklin family must find a way forward without him in this highly-anticipated sequel to The Business of Christmas. As their mother, Mary Ann, moves from Los Angeles to Richmond, deciding not to celebrate Christmas (which was an Oscar holiday), the Franklin children struggle to see their mother's issues beyond their own career and relationship problems. The family has to forgive each other for the mistakes of the past in order to remember how important family is. And finally, the Franklin kids have to cancel Mary Ann's "Bah Humbug" spirit and bring Christmas back into the Franklin family home in a way only the Franklin's can celebrate.
